With many of their title rivals in the news due to high profile transfer rumours with astronomical reported fees, Premier League dark horses Tottenham have been quietly going about their business as they have often been known to do.

The North London club are not looking to the likes of PSG or Real Madrid to find players that will strengthen their squad, but rather mid table Watford and their talented young winger Richarlison.

According to the Mirror, Spurs’ scouts have already attended multiple Hornets games this season in order to keep tabs on the Brazilian, and they have unsurprisingly been impressed with what they have seen so far.

Richarlison has scored four goals and added two assists in 11 Premier League games this season, and has arguably been Watford’s standout player in this campaign. At just 20 years of age his emergence comes at an excellent time, and it is clear that the Brazilian has a lot of development still to go.

Having made the move to England from Fluminense for a fee of just £11m, Richarlison represents somewhat of a bargain. However, if Spurs want to acquire his services they will likely have to cough up a handsome fee, especially now that the winger’s true talent has been put on show for all the world to see.
